CHAC is inviting early career researchers who are in the initial stages of their careers in the field of climate change and health to apply for the Early Career Researcher Scholarship. The scholarship is specifically open to individuals from sub-Saharan Africa.

Please note that the scholarship is not applicable to professors or individuals who have held a PhD for more than 10 years.

Scholarship details
Full scholarships will be awarded (includes international flights, ground travel, accommodation, and registration)

Scholarships are granted based on the excellence of the abstract and/or case study, motivational letter, and curriculum vitae submitted. To be eligible for a scholarship, recipients must be the presenting author of the accepted abstract and / case study.

Terms and conditions:

• Scholarships are available exclusively for abstract submitters.
• Applying for the scholarship does not guarantee funding.
• Scholarship recipients are expected to be present for the entire duration of the three-day conference.

How to apply
The Early Career Researcher Scholarship should be submitted as part of the abstract submission process through the CHAC abstract and scholarship submission system.
